කිරිබත්ගොඩ: අද (30) පස්වරුවේ කිරිබත්ගොඩ නගර මධ්‍යයේ පිහිටි රෙදි පිලි වෙළෙඳසල් දෙකක

(හැඩකාරි) හදිසි ගින්නක් හටගෙන තිබේ. ගින්න සීඝ්‍රයෙන් පැතිර ගොස් ඇති අතර එම ප්‍රදේශය පුරා විශාල දුමාරයක් පැතිර පවතින බව වාර්තා වේ.

හටගත් ගින්න තවදුරටත් පැතිර යාම වැළැක්වීම සඳහා සහ එය නිවා දැමීම සඳහා මේ වන විට ගිනි නිවීමේ රථ 5ක් එම ස්ථානයට යොමු කර ඇත. ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් සහ පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් එක්ව ගිනි නිවන භටයන්ට සහාය වෙමින් සිටින අතර ගින්න පාලනය කිරීමට දැඩි උත්සාහයක නිරත වේ.

මෙම ගින්නෙන් සිදුවූ ජීවිත හානි පිළිබඳව මෙතෙක් වාර්තා වී නොමැති වුවද, වෙළෙඳසැල් තුළ තිබූ භාණ්ඩ හා දේපළවලට දැඩි හානි සිදුව ඇති බව නිරීක්ෂණය වේ. ගින්න හටගැනීමට හේතුව මෙතෙක් අනාවරණය වී නොමැති අතර, සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කිරිබත්ගොඩ පොලීසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වයි.

මෙම තත්ත්වය හේතුවෙන් කිරිබත්ගොඩ නගරය ආශ්‍රිත මාර්ගවල සුළු වාහන තදබදයක් ද පවතින බව වාර්තා වේ.

Kiribathgoda: A sudden fire broke out in two textile shops in the center of Kiribathgoda town this afternoon (30). The fire has spread rapidly and a large amount of smoke is reported to be spreading throughout the area.

Five fire engines have been dispatched to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading further and to extinguish it. Local residents and police officers are assisting the firefighters and are making strenuous efforts to control the fire.

Although there have been no reports of casualties in the fire so far, it is observed that the goods and properties in the shops have been severely damaged. The cause of the fire has not been revealed yet, and the Kiribathgoda Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.

Due to this situation, there is also a slight traffic jam on the roads surrounding Kiribathgoda town.
