කොළඹ හිටපු අමාත්ය ජොන්ස්ටන් ප්රනාන්දු මහතාගේ පුත්රයෙකු වන ජොහාන් ප්රනාන්දු මහතාව පොලිස් මූල්ය අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසය (FCID) මඟින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ. සතොස ආයතනයට අයත් රජයේ දේපළ සහ මුදල් අවභාවිත කිරීමේ චෝදනා මත මෙම අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සිදුකර ඇත.

වැටුප් හා දීමනා වංචා කිරීම: සතොස ආයතනය හරහා වැටුප් හා දීමනා ලබාගැනීමේදී මූල්ය අවභාවිතයක් සිදුකර ඇති බවට විමර්ශනවලදී තහවුරු වී තිබීම.

පොලිස් මූල්ය අපරාධ කොට්ඨාසය මඟින් සිදුකළ දීර්ඝ විමර්ශනයකින් අනතුරුව, ප්රකාශයක් ලබා දීම සඳහා එම කොට්ඨාසය වෙත පැමිණි අවස්ථාවේදී ඔහුව මෙලෙස අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇත. රජයේ දේපළ අයථා ලෙස පරිහරණය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඔහුගෙන් ඉදිරියේදී වැඩිදුර ප්රශ්න කිරීම් සිදුකිරීමට නියමිතය.

Misuse of government vehicles: Misuse of a lorry and several other vehicles belonging to the Sathosa Institute without proper permission.
Fraud in salaries and allowances: Investigations have confirmed that financial misuse has been committed in obtaining salaries and allowances through the Sathosa Institute.
Investigation activities:
Following a lengthy investigation conducted by the Police Financial Crimes Division, he was arrested when he came to the division to give a statement. He is scheduled to be questioned further in the future regarding the misuse of government property.
